Daddy and Kaemon Ze found a fun junk store to wander through.

(It's still bright and hot in the desert, where it's not quite summer yet.)

Daddy took Kaemon Ze to a play in a park 

while I stayed behind to do some work for my parents. 

It was hot and bright!

A lady approached daddy and said the park offers free lunch for kids.

So away they went to enjoy the yummies.

Some serious light saber action tonight!

Kaemon Ze and I were talking about Curious George, how he's not just curious, but very clever. He figures out new ways to solve problems and he never gives up until he's satisfied with the result. He's .. new word for the day .. CLEVER.

We talked about how clever dad and grampa are in the things they build, and how clever mama is in the things she paints and creates. Dad and grampa and mama are very CLEVER! "Yah" says he. Then his whole body lights up and he says "and me too! I'm clever!" 

Indeed you are little one, indeed you are.

a walk on the dark side

After seeing the Stormtroopers and Darth Vadar (and the rest of the Star Wars cast) at that parade last night, Kaeon Ze wanted to wear his Darth Vadar suit and go for a walk. We stopped by our neighbors (who love Star Wars), but they were not home. We did get to talk to another neighbor, whom, as luck would have it, also LOVES Star Wars. Kaemon Ze asked her what color her light saber is and she told him, "Green." That made him smile. Maybe someday we can have a neighborhood light saber battle. :D
