more halloween shots from daddy

Look at what my creative hubby made for the Trick or Treaters! He's so awesome!

I didn't know it, but daddy was taking photos with his phone as we went to the 8 neighbors who know him.

"this is the best halloween ever!"

On our way to a halloween festival!

Mmmm...popcorn!
A local newspaper photographer took a candid photo of
Kaemon Ze and daddy...maybe they'll make the paper!

Waiting for the puppet show to start.

The kids are really engaged in the puppet show, which featured Dracula,
Frankenstein, a mummy, Bride of Frankenstein, a werewolf, gargoyles, and a mad scientist.

These two boys sat on each side of him: a fireman with a balloon and Buzz LightYear. Every so often, the balloon's string or the BLY wings would get into Kaemon Ze's face. It was funny to watch how oblivious all three boys were.
The puppet show had some funny parts and lasted 30 mins...a long time!
Afterward, in the car, Kaemon Ze declared, "This is the best Halloween - ever!"

After the festival, we took JoyBoy over to say "Trick or Treat" at his grandparent's home.
Grandpa was very happy to see him and let him take as much as he wanted.
Grandparent's prerogative.
Luckily, Kaemon Ze isn't that into sweets!

"Trick or Treat!"
We dashed home, ate dinner, then took JoyBoy out to say, "Trick or Treat" to our neighbors...the 8 who know him. For the past 3 years, I take plum jam to give to our neighbors...it's rather fun to be able to give something in return! Also like last year, some of the neighbors had special gifts for him. One neighbor gave him really cool "twistable" crayons and another had made a special paper broom for him. The broom part was filled with candy. That touches my heart so much. By the time we said "Thank you" to the last neighbor, he was asking to go home. At the house, he thoroughly enjoyed holding out our little caldron full of candy to the Trick-or-Treater's who stopped by.

shared birthday party goodness with buddy finn

I think this is my favorite photo from the party. :)

Just try to hold on to him, Auntie Shannie!

Alex sure got excited when he sent his bowling ball down the lane!

Emma and Kaemon Ze. At one point Emma put her name tag on her forehead. Kaemon Ze wanted to do that too. "Okay, son." So off he went with a name tag on his forehead. Then later, he saw Emma eating green frosting and wanted green frosting, too. :)

Sweet Noah and his mama wait their turn to bowl.

Noah is soooo cute!

 The guys, represent.

More guys! Friends, daddies, a grandpa and a son!

Bowling fun!

Finn's awesome robot ice cream cake!
Kaemon Ze's awesome dinosaur ice cream cake!
 Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Still waiting...

Blowing out their candles. The boys were born exactly 7 days apart.

Being a monster with the funny teeth his friend Emma gave him.

We told him this is what happens when you don't brush your teeth. :D

pumpkin guts and candles

 A little wary...

 Feels kinda funny!

Saying "cheese!"

 "PUMPKIN GUTS!"

Trying out his new (but used and still-too-big) boots I scored for $4.90

My Whimsy Guy did a GREAT job, per usual!
We sure missed having Auntie Katie here to help us, though.
The little one on the right is a watermelon I grew.

Blowing out the candles...or at least trying to.

Keep it mind...it's not warm tonight! Heh. :)
