my sweet boy

His mom and dad watch over their sleeping angel from above...

Now...what do you suppose he's going to do with the footstool on top of the footstool?

Trying to reach the toys on top of the fridge. (He lost privilege to his dinosaurs because he didn't pick them up.) Rather clever, but NOT A GOOD IDEA, SON!

My handsome fella.

easter at home

"Kaemon Ze, do you think the Easter Bunny came to our house?"
"Noooo."
"Want to go outside and see if he did?"
"OK!"

"Look! A triceratops!"

Holding a crocodile, but still enamored with the triceratops.

Auntie Katie watching JoyBoy.

Wow...what loot! Daddy had to get another basket!

I love this shot of Auntie Katie.

"Kaemon Ze, guess who that's from?"
"Laura!"
"That's right!"

All the cool toys were from Bunny and Papa. So fun!

Some eggs had one jelly bean; some had one piece of chocolate; some had a malt-ball (he didn't care for those); and some had coins.

He laughed at this funny bunny who claps his ears to a song he sings.

This one stole his heart: a chick who sings the "Chicken Dance."
It asks, "Are you ready to the do the Chicken Dance?"
And Kaemon Ze thus far, always says, "YES!"

Not sure about the malt-ball...

We had a Mexican-feast for Easter. :)

Daddy has a guard set near his iPhone.

One of my gorgeous tulips...

Beautiful afternoon drizzle in the garden. I now have TWO potato shoots!

Later, Bunny and Papa got to watching JoyBoy do the Chicken Dance in his birthday suit...over and over and over.

easter at the zoo with buddies

See the look on Kaemon Ze's face? That's how us four parents felt after watching the other parents rush in to "help" their toddlers (ages 0 to 2) find eggs. The onslaught of parents surprised us and made Kaemon Ze stop in fear of being run over. He managed to get one piece of candy and Elayna got a few things, too.

After that, we went over to the 3-5 year old area and the kids had a BLAST...no parents on the grass!

Running with Elayna - waiting until the next egg hunt!

Mi Familia.

It's nearly time for the next egg hunt!

Listening to the instructions and waiting for the count down: 3-2-1-GO!

Happy with their loot.

JoyBoy scrapped up his nose yesterday.

Me, shooting Elayna's mama. :)

The hunts were every 20 minutes, and while we waited for Elayna come back from going potty (the first time she did outside her home!), Kaemon Ze got to do another hunt.

Ride 'em, cowboy!

Kaemon Ze told me, "I want YOU to hug the bunny." He would have nothing to do with the bunny, but he wanted to see me do it. Here he is watching me. :)

Isn't this the NICEST-looking bunny you've ever seen?

Kaemon Ze makes the music to Elayna's dance.

JoyBoy spend the first part of the morning with Elayna, then at lunch we met up with his buddy from the swimming pool. Elayna left after petting the goats to nap. Once we left the zoo, we were had just backed out the parking spot when Kaemon Ze fell fast asleep in his car seat. He had so much fun with his friends!

The daddies had fun growling at the boys like leopards,
making their sons squeal with delight!

He may not look much like me, but this is one of the ways in which he is like me: holes at the elbow. :)

The daddy brigade.
