kick some boston butt, lee!

Last night friends gathered to commune over dinner and to wish Lee the best.

This afternoon JoyBoy and I met Lee at the airport to send him off with joy, love, and "Kick Some Boston Butt" energy!

Lee is off to complete the Boston Marathon!

Having some fun with JoyBoy before heading to his red eye.

JoyBoy busied himself by coloring on a piece of cardboard.
When he was done, he handed it to Lee and said,
"Happy Birthday to you."
Then he got Lee to color with him.

Just kinda melts your heart, doesn't it?

Once he arrived in Boston, he posted these photos of himself.

I am so dern-tootin' excited for him!!!
