In the weekly pregnancy updates Jason gets via e-mail, it reads:
Week 38 of Your Pregnancy Hi Jason, has the nesting instinct struck you yet? Many women feel the urge to put their house in order just before they give birth. Just be careful to not overexert yourself or climb on high ladders from which you could fall.
Jason read this aloud to me... because he knows I *really* want the dining room painted... like NOW. He's got plenty to do on his "to do list" and we both know my energy level won't sustain actually getting the project completed... so it remains my one nesting urge... my one unfulfilled nesting urge, I might add. *grin* If anyone out there has the time and inclination to assist (read: do most of the work), let me know. *laugh*
As he started to read the rest of the weekly e-mail update, I momentarily lost my balance in the living room but managed to right myself. I looked over at Jason and he was grinning from ear to ear. He continue to read:
A renewed sense of clumsiness... Jason, since your baby has settled down into your pelvis in preparation for birth, your center of gravity has shifted and you may feel a renewed sense of clumsiness or awkwardness. And while this shift has alleviated the pressure on your lungs, you are probably feeling increased pressure on your bladder and as a result, may be making much more frequent trips to the bathroom. Continue to monitor your Braxton Hicks contractions and watch for signs of labor as your baby could come at any time!
The e-mail also said:
Your baby weighs about 6.5 to 7 pounds and is approximately 19.5 inches in length. You have been full term for a week now
Tomorrow is my weekly appointment with my OBGYN... stayed tuned. :)

I'd be happy to help with your dining room after Halloween, if you don't get another helper before then!
